Three Twitter users could find themselves in contempt of court after publishing information about the Douglas East by-election trial on the social networking site.
A development in the case earlier in the week led to Deemster Turner reminding the gathered journalists it would be against the law to report on it.
However, the information has now leaked after two members of the public – one of whom was in court – discussed it on the site, and the information was then retweeted.
Authorities say they’re looking into the matter.
