Coronavirus jab to be rolled out from next week
A Covid vaccine due to be rolled out across the UK and Isle of Man from next week, is said to be roughly twice as effective as the flu jab.
The Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine in clinical trials suggested up to 95 per cent protection against the virus.
Stephen Bustin is a professor of molecular medicine at Anglia Ruskin University.
He says while 95 per cent is a high figure, a lower percentage would still be a comparatively impressive result:
