Annual national day celebration
One of the rural highlights of the Island's national day takes place this afternoon (Tues) just up the road from St John's.
Cronk y Voddy Sports Day takes place from 2pm, with the marquee opening for hot and cold food from 12.30pm.
Among the various events there's the bike race for the Brian Quirk memorial shield, a running race and the infamous dog racing throughout the afternoon.
All are welcome, regardless of age or ability - and that includes the dogs
Proceeds from the day will go to Bowel Cancer Isle of Man.
