Lay person to join team of seven
Applications are being sought for a lay member to join Culture Vannin.
It's an appointment being made by the Council of Ministers, with applications closing on Thursday, 27 February at 5pm.
They're looking for someone with "significant experience within one or more fields of Manx culture", or with skills in education, fund-raising and marketing.
The successful candidate will join a board of seven, made up of a political chair, second member of Tynwald, someone appointed by the Manx Museum and National Trust, a member of the Isle of Man Arts Council, plus two other 'lay members'.
The main duties include attending four full board meetings each year, which are normally held at Culture Vannin in St John’s on Friday mornings from 10am.
An information pack and an application form are available to view online here - or you can access a PDF version here.
