Focus groups to take place before strategy laid before Tynwald next month
Over 1,000 Manx Utilities customers will be contacted during the next two weeks and invited to join focus groups to consider future electricity tariffs and how they are designed.
The project is being carried out by consultants Davies & McKerr on behalf of the electricity provider.
Insights provided by consumers will help support a strategy that reflects the realities of today's electricity tariffs, but also what matters most to customers.
Focus group topics will include - understanding customer energy usage patterns, preferences on tariff structures, perceptions of value for money and service quality, and the potential impact of evolving energy markets and new technology integration.
Manx Utilities' five-year pricing strategy is scheduled to be laid before Tynwald for consideration and approval at the November sitting.
