First session scheduled for 5.20pm start
It's the first day of this year's festival of motorcycling - but the weather is already causing problems.
With wet and windy conditions are expected for much of the day, Clerk of the Course, Gary Thompson, says they will make an announcement about today's scheduled first practice session at 2.30pm after consulting with the Met Office.
Roads are currently due to close around the course at 5pm . . with MGP and Classic TT newcomers due to get away on a speed controlled lap at 5.20.
Meanwhile, organisers say Noble's Car Park will be closed today following significant rain . . the move taken to prevent damage. It's hoped it can be opened again on Monday.
