The department is after a five year contract for a local business
The Department of Environment Food and Agriculture wants planning approval for a food vendor in Chibbanagh Plantation.
It wants a 'catering vehicle' to operate for five years to see if there is demand from people who are using the plantation and is aimed at making outdoor recreation an 'attractive proposition' for residents.
The temporary application will gauge whether the facilities are correctly located and make sure there are no environmental issues with the service.
The business that takes it on would be expected to sell local produce.
