Local society says 'biodiversity' is important
Residents in Derbyhaven have welcomed a decision to delay plans for redevelopment of the former Castletown Golf Links Hotel.
This week the planning committee deferred signing-off proposals to create a new 40-bed complex and 40 residential apartments.
It followed a planning officer's recommendation that the application should be refused due to its scale and potential impact on wildlife.
Those concerns have been dismissed by developer Dandara.
