Vessel was in the process of being broken up
Coastguard teams were called out in Peel this morning (27 March) to reports of a sunken fishing boat.
The derelict vessel was in the process of being broken up, with contractors seen working on it yesterday.
Crew members confirmed once on scene, a boom was deployed around the vessel to prevent further debris spreading in the water.
It's hoped the boat will be successfully refloated later today.
