Successful applicant would be in charge of £370m of taxpayer money
The Isle of Man’s Department of Health and Social Care is recruiting for an interim Chief Officer.
The current post-holder Paul Richardson is retiring, after he was appointed on a permanent basis in August 2023.
The interim role is being advertised with a salary of up to £125,000, and the Isle of Man Government has commissioned specialist recruitment firm Odgers Berndtson to manage the process.
Describing it as a "unique, high-profile and demanding role", government says it is looking for “an outstanding individual” with strong leadership skills, proven experience of organisational change, and the ability to communicate across a range of audiences.
Transparency, honesty, and communication are listed among the top values expected of candidates.
The successful applicant will oversee the DHSC’s £370 million budget and play a key role in shaping the future of health and social care delivery on the Island.
