Police issue plea after vandalism
Police are appealing to parents on social media after a number of incidents of 'needless' vandalism in Douglas over several weeks.
The most recent offence occurred in Shaw's Brow Car Park yesterday, with CCTV published appearing to show youngsters at the scene.
Douglas Borough Council is working with the force to bring those responsible, whatever age, to justice.
Officers are asking parents to avoid an 'embarrassing knock on the door' by knowing where their children are, who they're with, and what they've been doing.
They say despite '99.99 per cent of young people being a credit to the Island, a small minority can 'easily ruin' reputations.
