A company is seeking to install a dog washing machine in Ramsey.
DoggyWash (Isle of Man) wants to install its machine on Ramsey's Mooragh Promenade adjacent to existing chemical toilet disposal.
Its application says: "Although Mooragh Park itself is closed to dogs, the surrounding dog-friendly areas are very popular, and Mooragh Prom, the beach and nearby walking trails create a natural hub for dog owners.
"By positioning a unit in this area, the town can introduce a forward-thinking service that is already proven elsewhere, while adding value to one of Ramsey’s most popular public areas."
The machine is operated by contactless payment and allows people to wash and dry their dogs in a contained bath.
