Amber weather warning in place from 7am to 2pm
Those who live in areas prone to flooding are being urged to be prepared with more heavy rain on the way today.
The Department of Infrastructure is encouraging residents to ensure drains are clear, and that measures are put in place to protect property.
It says sandbags are available free of charge at all four civic amenity sites, and warns that the ground is already saturated after heavy downpours earlier this week.
Ronaldsway Met Office is warning today's rainfall is likely to lead to standing water and localised flooding - an amber warning is in place until 2pm.
