Council leader says figures don't tell the full story
The leader of Douglas Borough Council says the Department of Infrastructure's claims about horse tram costs don't tell the full story.
Since the DoI took over the running of the horse trams, it has spoken of making enormous savings, compared to when the council was running them at a loss of more than £260,000 annually.
Minister Phil Gawne has said that loss has already been reduced to around £62,000.
But Council Leader David Christian says that is in large part down to how costs are recorded:
