Initiative aims to help local fund local events up to Christmas
The Domestic Event Fund has been extended until the end of December (2021).
The initiative, which has supported events such as Pride, was introduced as a result of the £100m Economic Recovery Fund introduced to combat the financial impact of the Covid pandemic.
Organisers can apply for up to 80% of the total costs associated with the development of domestic events.
Qualifying costs include equipment, entertainment, marketing, insurance, health and safety, and an event organiser.
