Thousands of lambs expected to be born in coming months
If you see a lamb on its own, don't pick it up.
That's the warning from a local farmer as lambing season gets underway on the Island.
Kirree Kermode from Orrisdale Farm, who also presents Manx Radio's Countryside programme, says it's normal for ewes to leave their newborns, and interfering can break the bond between a mother and their lamb.
She says it's not unusual to see large numbers of lambs in some areas:
