One was found on the local authority's collection rounds today
Douglas Council is asking residents not to put knives and sharp objects in the kerbside recycling boxes.
Staff found a knife on the collection rounds today and says it can be a 'danger' to the team and residents.
The local authority says the correct method of disposal is to take the items to the metal skip at the civic amenity site.
It says it will be visiting the owner of the recycling box today.
