Entain says MGM offer ';significantly undervalues' company
A Douglas-based company has received an 8 billion pound offer from a Las Vegas casino firm.
Entain, which owns bookmakers Ladbrokes and Coral, said in a statement to the London Stock Exchange the bid from MGM Resorts "significantly undervalues" the company.
The group, formerly known as GVC Holdings, has its headquarters in the Isle of Man, but holds licences in 18 countries, employing almost 3,000 people globally.
