The education minister has revealed around 30-percent of teaching staff staged walkouts yesterday, as part of ongoing disputes over pay and conditions.
Members of the NASUWT will also strike today with some pupils again asked to remain at home.
Two other unions Prospect and Unite are in solidarity with the teaching union.
