Police remind motorists to drive to the conditions
Emergency services are dealing with a number of road traffic collisions in the areas of Jurby, Ballabeg and Ballaugh.
Police have now closed Douglas Road between Cross Four Ways and Main Road, Ballabeg due to 'ice and multiple RTCs'.
Officers have shut a stretch of road in Peel because of the icy conditions.
Several cars have been left on the Poortown Road, and officers are keeping motorists away from the area.
The roads on the estates around there are especially bad - with more than a dozen minor incidents this morning in Ballawattleworth.
Ambulance services are said to be 'stretched' - the Isle of Man Constabulary is urging people not to take unnecessary risks as areas of sheet ice are causing 'hazardous conditions' around the Island.
