The environment minister has declared his intention to stand for re-election this September.
Geoffrey Boot has served in the House of Keys for the constituency of Glenfaba and Peel since 2015.
He's been the minister for the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture since 2016.
In outlining his priorities, Mr Boot says 'now is the time to build our economy' and notes that he's been at the heart of the Climate Change Bill.
MLC Kate Lord-Brennan and fellow sitting MHK Ray Harmer have also announced their intention to stand in the constituency on Thursday, 23 September.
