Douglas Borough Council welcomes economic boost
It's thought around 8,000 people attended the Douglas Christmas light switch on last night.
There were a variety of events held throughout the town centre, including an outdoor cinema and children's entertainers.
Town Centre Manager at Douglas Borough Council Oliver Cheshire says it was a big boost for the local economy:
