Doors closed after 40 years
A well-known bric-a-brac and book shop in the north of the Island has said goodbye to its final customers.
Jurby Junk, which has been a favourite with visitors to the Island for more than 40 years, officially closed yesterday evening, 18 September.
Remaining stock on the shelves will now be auctioned, and owner Stella Pixton plans to concentrate on writing her second book.
She says consumer habits have changed dramatically over the years.
