Industry meeting at QE2 High School
There's been cautious enthusiasm from the Manx National Farmers Union to news a commercial management team will be running the meat plant from early next year.
The business model and who is on the board have still to be made public.
An industry meeting will take place at QE2 High School in Peel on Monday 11th December at 7pm.
President of the Manx MNF Brian Brumby says the new structure has to work to help the future of farming on the island.
But he says the interests of his members will not be directly represented on the meat plant board:-
