Global events, routes to market and export costs among issues
More areas of the farming sector are 'feeling the squeeze' than ever before as global events continue to impact the industry.
That's from the president of the Manx National Farmers' Union who's been discussing the challenges facing the agriculture sector.
Murray Cringle says concerns over routes the market, the cost of exporting goods and rising prices are all having an effect.
He adds that there needs to be a greater focus on buying Manx, as well as the ability for producers to export goods at a reduced cost.
He also fears the UK's reliance on imported produce could have a detrimental impact on the Isle of Man.

The Department for Enterprise and Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture have been invited to respond to Mr Cringle's comments.
