The Southern District Agricultural Show was held on Island at the weekend
Events such as the Southern District Agricultural Show remain an important way of showcasing the quality and work of the farming community and Island and beyond.
That's according to one figure in the industry after the Island event was held across Saturday and Sunday, with one of the highlights being the crowning of this year's supreme champion, which in 2023 was awarded to Lee and Tom Cain.
Kirree Kermode is part of the farming family at Orrisdale Farm in Ballasalla.
She says this allows those in the industry to showcase their produce and drum up more business during the rest of the year:
