Update from police following incident on Braaid Road
Police say a female cyclist is still receiving treatment in hospital following a road traffic collision involving a car in St Mark's yesterday (Wednesday, 25 September).
Her condition is stable and she's not thought to have suffered any life-threatening injuries; the woman is a visitor to the Island from the UK.
The incident happened on the Braaid Road just before midday.
The driver of the car is said to be a local man.
Police have been appealing for the driver of a small red car that was in the area at the time, who may have been overtaken by a white coloured saloon, to make contact.
