Project nearing completion, airport says
Ronaldsway Airport says it will be carrying out 'final checks' on the Instrument Landing System work in the next few days.
It says people may see or hear a small aircraft flying at low levels around the airfield and nearby areas during that time.
The work has been ongoing throughout March and has caused a number of flight delays and cancellations - along with poor weather conditions.
The airport says the checks show the replacement project is in its final stages and the ILS will soon be ready for approval by the regulator.
