39-year-old pleaded guilty to drunk and disorderly behaviour
A Castletown man has been fined £270 after a drunken altercation outside the police station on Farrants Way.
Patrick James Martin, of James Road, pleaded guilty to drunk and disorderly behaviour during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
Police were alerted to raised voices outside the building and emerged to see him throw a punch at a man, miss, and strike a woman instead.
Martin's advocate told the court he was apologetic and embarrassed to be appearing in court, revealing he knows both other parties involved.
The 39-year-old was also ordered to pay prosecution costs.
