Translarna for Finley if drug cost reduced
Parents of a seven-year-old boy who's had news he could soon be given treatment for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy say they're relieved their campaign is a success.
Health and Social Care Minister Kate Beecroft approved the use of the £180,000 a year - that's if the drug company can supply Translarna to the Island at the same reduced rate offered to NHS England.
She confirmed the news in answer to a Tynwald question yesterday.
