Outdoor fire spread to nearby wood pile
Fire crews in the south were called out to a fire near the Albert Hotel in Port St Mary yesterday.
Officers, who managed to extinguish the blaze, say an unattended outdoor fire had spread to a nearby pile of wood.
The Fire and Rescue Service is reminding people who are planning to have an outdoor fire to inform the emergency services and never leave it unattended.
