Firefighters' tips to stay safe this weekend
Revellers are being warned not to mess about when it comes to fireworks this weekend.
It's expected a large number of homeowners will be putting on their own displays tonight and tomorrow, and emergency services are urging them to keep safety in mind.
Bonfire night celebrations around the Island are set to continue this evening, after Douglas and Peel hosted their flagship events last night.
Laxey Fire Station are tonight's big hosts, with a bonfire at 6.30pm and fireworks from 7pm.
For garden pyrotechnics, keeping your distance from lit fireworks, storing them safely and keeping a bucket of water handy are among the tried and tested top tips.
And with the big day falling on a Sunday this year, Fire and Rescue Service Officer Roger Brown says one rule is particularly relevant:
