Douglas City Fireworks Display planned for this evening
The city of Douglas' annual Bonfire Night fireworks display is due to get underway this evening (5 November).
Alongside the show itself, there'll be a Best Eco-Guy Competition, as well as food vendors on hand for a bite to eat.
The display is due to take place at 6:30pm - but with a yellow weather warning in force until tomorrow morning (Thursday 6 November), organisers will be keeping an eye on the forecast.
Councillor Natalie Byron-Teare says a decision on whether the event will get the go-ahead will be made a couple of hours beforehand.
She's been telling Christy DeHaven what we can expect:
Manx Radio will be live streaming the soundtrack for any spectators that don't make it to Harris Promenade.
