Manx Telecom team up with police to offer discreet help
The first high street 'safe space' for domestic abuse victims has opened on the Isle of Man.
Manx Telecom, on Strand Street in Douglas, has joined forces with police to provide assistance for people who need help.
Safe spaces are areas, within the local community, where information and support can be discreetly requested; police can also be called.
Last year 'supermarket safe spaces' were also rolled out in Tesco and in Shoprite stores on the Isle of Man.
