Vessel broke down twice in six hours
Douglas lifeboat was called out twice yesterday (Sunday) to help the same fishing boat.
The Sir William Hillary was first called when the nine-metre fishing vessel with two crew aboard suffered engine failure 12 miles out of Douglas.
After its crew made repairs, the same boat then broke down again with alternator problems in virtually the same place as it was travelling to Holyhead at about 5.50pm.
The Douglas crew brought her back to the capital under tow.
