Route shut between Hairpin and Bungalow
A section of the Mountain Road is currently closed due to flooding.
The Department of Infrastructure says the route is shut between the Hairpin and Bungalow.
The emergency closure comes following significant highway flooding at the Verandah, which has made the area unsafe for travel.
The department has sent a gully sucker to the area to clear the drains, and expects the road to reopened by 4.30pm.
