Tynwald approved an additional £20.8m following 2025-26 overspend
A former health minister says he's not convinced Manx Care will be able to avoid another overspend this year because of how the health service is funded.
Lawrie Hooper's comments come after Tynwald approved £20.8million of additional healthcare funding for the last financial year.

The Department of Health and Social Care says it's taking action to reduce the risk of future overspends while Manx Care identified almost £10million of efficiency savings in the 2025-26 period.
But Mr Hooper warns the healthcare provider is being asked to do more than it's paid for:
Manx Radio has invited Treasury to respond.
Mr Hooper has declared his intention to seek re-election in Ramsey at this year's House of Keys General Election on 24 September.
