Second candidate declares
A Douglas councillor has become the second candidate to come forward to contest next month’s Legislative Council election.
Former Mayor John Skinner has been nominated by North Douglas MHK David Ashford.
Mr Skinner is a former senior fireman and also served on the Island’s planning committee for a decade.
Five vacancies will soon be available in the upper house. The election is being held on March the 12th.
