Gale warning in operation in North Irish Sea tonight
The Steam Packet has cancelled this evening's 7.15pm departure to Heysham, as well as the return crossing at 1.45am tomorrow (19 November).
It's due to forecast adverse weather, with a gale warning currently in operation in the North Irish Sea.
The wind is due to veer north six or seven this evening, before increasing to seven or occasionally gale eight overnight.
It will decrease to mainly six by dawn tomorrow.
Tomorrow's sailings from 8am are due to operate as scheduled.
