Peter Karran blasts Howard Quayle's top team
A former MHK says the current Manx government is not open, not accountable, and not responsible in its actions.
Peter Karran - who was first elected to the House of Keys in 1985 - wrote a letter to the Editor of Isle of Man Newspapers, and more openly to the taxpayers of the Isle of Man, voicing his concerns about the Media Development Fund.
The 58-year-old represented the continuency of Onchan for 30 years and retired from Manx politics before the 2016 General Election.In his words, almost £27million has been "fritted [sic] away" instead of being spent wisely.
Mr Karran argues that this is just the latest in a list of instances where government has failed to use public funds responsibly:
