Local menstrual health coach hoping to help women find out more about their cycles
A local menstrual health expert is hoping offering free sessions will get more people talking about their periods.
It's to mark Menstrual Health Awareness Month.
Emily Todd is founder of Femm Collective based on the Isle of Man.
She's running a drop-in day on Sunday 18 May, offering free 30-minute one-to-one consultations at The Roundhouse in Braddan.
“Too many women feel like they’re just supposed to put up with symptoms or feel ignored when they seek help. This event is about changing that, offering real, non-judgemental support, education, and the chance to be truly heard.” - Emily Todd
The sessions run from 2-6pm and it's hoped they'll provide a safe, supportive space for women and teens to talk openly about their cycle-related health and wellbeing.
The consultations are not medical appointments, but instead coaching sessions.
Emily says she wants to encourage people to have conversations about their cycles:
Booking for the sessions is required, which you can do by emailing femmiom@gmail.com or clicking here.
