Government confirms free contracts until the end of December
The Manx government has confirmed TV licences for the over 75s will remain free of charge for the rest of 2020.
Pensioners who are over the threshold and have a licence up to the end of May, have now had them extended until the end of July.
Following this a short term licence will be automatically issued lasting until the end of December.
Any Island residents that turn 75 from the end of July can also apply for the free licence for the remainder of the year.
The issue has recently been raised by the Manx Labour Party.
