Public vote will decide where the money goes
Four Manx charities are to share a £50,000 donation from the Island's Freemasons - and the public will choose how big a slice of they cake they'll get.
The 300th anniversary of Freemasonry is being marked with an online vote - the most popular charity receiving £25,000, with sums of £15,000, £6,000 and £4,000 being awarded to the others.
Charities selected for the vote by The Masonic Province of the Isle of Man are the Ardwhallan Jubilee Trust, Diana Princess of Wales Care at Home Trust, Special Olympics Isle of Man and St John Ambulance.
The money's part of a £3 million fund being distributed to 300 good causes around the UK, to mark the formation of the first Grand Lodge in 1717.
The closing date for the public vote is 31 July 2017.
