Move by Manx Government in line with UK
The Isle of Man Government's announced a 5p reduction per litre in fuel duty in line with the announcement made by the UK Chancellor.
It came into effect at 6pm this evening (23 Mar) and will be in place for the next 12 months.
The Island's also replicated the United Kingdom by cutting the VAT rate on energy-saving materials and heating equipment from 5 per cent to 0 per cent.
The move comes in accordance with the Customs and Excise agreement between the UK and the Isle of Man.
