Roads start closing at 9.15am
Roads are due to start closing around the Mountain Circuit at 9.15am this morning – with two races and a practice session planned.
The Mountain Road will shut from Barrule Park at 9.15am, and from the Bungalow at 9.30am.
The rest of the course is due to close at 10am.
Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson says conditions as excellent, meaning Supersport Race 1 should get underway at 10.45am as scheduled.
After that, there’ll be a sidecar practice, before the Superstock Race gets underway at 1.45pm.
Later this afternoon, Mark Higgins will tackle the course in a Subaru rally car, before lightweights and electric bikes head out to practice.
The Mountain section should then reopen at 5.50pm with the rest of the circuit open no later than 4.50pm.
