Andrew Williamson died in June
The funeral of a former deemster will be held at Peel Cathedral at midday today (15 July).
Andrew Williamson died in June at the age of 75.
He was appointed deputy high bailiff in 1988 and high bailiff in 1995 - a role he held until 2002.
Outside of work Mr Williamson was a keen musician who regularly took part in the Manx Music Festival.
Among his successes he won the Cleveland Medal three times.
In a tribute on the Manx Music Festival's Facebook page Mr Williamson's duet partner Jane Mayne said: "I'm extremely sorry to hear of Andrew's passing, he was a true gentleman and a great friend.
"It was wonderful to hear him singing in the Guild again this year and I'm so very glad we got a chance to sing together one last time in the duet class.
"His voice was exquisite and will be greatly missed."
