Language marked for national day celebrations
A landmark anniversary for the Manx language was commemorated as part of this year's Tynwald Day.
Irish politician Eamon O'Cuive paid a visit here, seventy years after his grandfather - the former Taoiseach Eamon de Valera - came here to investigate our use of Gaelic.
Following the trip, he convinced Irish officials to invest in making recordings of the last surviving native Manx speakers.
