MHK hopes Manx Utilities plans get the go-ahead
An MHK for Garff says proposals for a new sewage treatment works for the area are "the best we can get".
Manx Utilities recently submitted a planning application for a facility that would stop the discharge of raw sewage at Laxey and Baldrine.
It comes five years after previous proposals for a development at Cairns were rejected by the planning committee.
But Andrew Smith hopes the consultation completed ahead of the application being finalised will ensure this design gets the go-ahead:
