Gawne rebutts 'cheeky' Robertshaw over Steam Packet question
The Infrastructure Minister says talks over the future of the Steam Packet Company are a far cry from accusations of 'secrecy'.
In Tynwald this week, East Douglas MHK Christ Robertshaw pressed Phil Gawne on his Department's ongoing tender process for potential ferry operators.
Mr. Gawne said his options remained open, but would be presented to Tynwald in a fair and open manner.
He described Mr. Robertshaw's question as 'cheeky' - but admitted it was difficult to uphold his Department's reputation.
