Five-year project to cost more than £20 million
Work to transform Douglas promenade could start this year, says Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne.
Changes have been made to include extra space on the walkway, raised kerbs to aid blind people and more pedestrian crossings.
The work - which will cost more than £20m - could take up to five years to complete.
